Where we work

Crews cover Sandton, Randburg, Midrand, Centurion and Pretoria East. For outlying suburbs, travel is arranged ahead of the visit so the timing is clear on both sides.

Questions that come up before a clean

Most of what people ask us is practical: what a standard visit includes, how to get a unit ready, how long a job runs, and what we cannot promise. Below are the answers we give most often. If your situation is not covered here, the fastest route is a direct message or call.

What counts as a standard clean

A standard clean follows a fixed checklist: floors, skirtings, kitchen surfaces and splashbacks, bathroom fixtures, mirrors, and general dusting. Ovens, extractor housings, grout lines, carpets and exterior glass sit outside that list and are booked as separate work so the regular visit stays on schedule.

When a walkthrough quote is needed

Larger jobs get a walkthrough before anything is confirmed. That covers post-tenant turnovers, multi-room carpet extraction, and properties where the condition is unclear from a description. For a standard clean, the checklist is enough and no site visit is arranged.

How to prepare the space

Clear personal items from surfaces you want cleaned, and move anything fragile out of the work areas. The crew brings its own equipment and cleaning agents, so no supplies need to be arranged. If entry is by a key safe, a code or a building reception, pass those details on before the visit.

Timing, drying and weekend slots

Carpet and upholstery extraction leaves fabric damp, and drying depends on airflow and the fibre. Open windows and a running fan shorten that window. Weekend slots are available for landlords and short-stay hosts turning a unit around between guests, and they are worth booking ahead.

What we cannot promise

Some marks lighten rather than disappear: ink, red wine, pet accidents and long-standing mineral scale on old fittings are the usual examples. We would rather say that before the job than after. There is also no account, dashboard or automated tracking here. Every request runs through a direct message or call.

Areas and travel

Regular coverage runs through Sandton, Randburg, Midrand, Centurion and Pretoria East. For outlying suburbs, travel is arranged in advance so the crew and the timing are confirmed before the day. Tell us the suburb when you get in touch and we will say whether it fits.

Still unsure which of these applies to your place? Reach out on +27 72 412 8542 or hello@sabacleaning.com, or read the process page for how a visit is planned from first message to finish.

Clarifications before you book

A few definitions that keep expectations straight. Support at Saba Cleaning runs through a phone call or a WhatsApp message, so it helps to be precise about what a clean includes, what it does not, and how a visit is arranged.

What "deep clean" covers

Deep cleaning means the parts a routine tidy-up skips: oven interiors, extractor filters, grout behind taps, sliding-door tracks, skirtings and window frames. A standard maintenance visit follows a fixed checklist and stays lighter than a once-off deep clean.

Walkthrough quote vs fixed checklist

Larger jobs, or spaces in unusual condition, get a walkthrough quote so the scope is agreed on site first. Standard cleans run on a fixed checklist, which keeps the visit predictable and the same from one booking to the next.

Equipment and cleaning agents

Crews of two or three arrive with their own equipment and cleaning agents. You do not need to buy or set out supplies. If a surface needs a specific product, mention it when you send your request so the right kit comes along.

Coverage and travel

Regular coverage runs across Sandton, Randburg, Midrand, Centurion and Pretoria East. For outlying suburbs, travel is arranged in advance, so include your area in the message and we will confirm whether the visit can be scheduled.

Weekend slots and turnarounds

Weekend slots exist for landlords and short-stay hosts turning a unit around between guests. Deep tasks such as oven degreasing or carpet extraction are better placed in a longer gap than a short turnover window, so flag them early.

How requests are handled

There is no account, dashboard or automated tracking. Every request is handled through a direct message or call. Changes to a recurring checklist, or questions about a weekend slot, are best raised the same way.

Reaching the crew

Bookings and questions go through the phone number or WhatsApp. If you prefer email, send a note and include the property type, the service you need and any access details. For a larger job, say so and a walkthrough can be arranged before the visit is confirmed.

What to have ready before you get in touch

A short, honest picture of the space saves a lot of back-and-forth. None of the points below are compulsory, but the more you can tell us up front, the faster the crew can be matched to the job and the fewer surprises there are on the day.

Size and layout

Rough room count, number of bathrooms and whether there are stairs helps decide how many people come out. A three-bedroom house with two bathrooms is a different visit from a one-bedroom flat, even when the checklist looks similar on paper.

Timing and access

Tell us when the space is free and how the crew gets in. Weekend slots suit landlords and short-stay hosts turning a unit around between guests. If nobody will be on site, say so early so entry can be arranged before the visit.

Surfaces and materials

Sealed stone counters, wooden worktops, wool carpets and older upholstery all react differently to cleaning agents. Mentioning them beforehand means the right products come along instead of being improvised on site.

Photos of the space

A few phone photos of the kitchen, bathrooms and any problem areas are genuinely useful. They help confirm whether a standard checklist covers the job or whether a walkthrough quote makes more sense for a larger clean.

Known limits

Ink, red wine, pet accidents and long-standing mineral scale may lighten rather than disappear. Saying so before the visit keeps expectations realistic. Reach and safety on upper-floor windows also decide what can be done from inside.

The result you want

A unit ready for a viewing, a kitchen reset after a long tenancy, or a standing arrangement you do not have to chase. Naming the outcome helps us pick between a once-off deep clean and a recurring visit, and whether travel needs arranging for outlying suburbs.
